Romexpo was established in 1959, at a time of rapid economic expansion and deepening of Romania's international trade relations. The decision to build an innovative exhibition center reflecting the progress of that time marked the beginnings of this ambitious project.<\/p>\n

In 1962, the Central Pavilion - Cupola (today's Pavilion A) was inaugurated, becoming a landmark of modern architecture in Bucharest and a veritable destination for large-scale events.<\/p>\n

Over the decades, Romexpo has evolved rapidly, organizing important events such as the Exhibition of National Economic Achievements (1964) and the Bucharest International Fair (TIB) in 1970, which brought together exhibitors from over 30 countries. Since the 1980s, Romexpo has continued to establish itself as a leading organizer of fairs and exhibitions, merging events and broadening its range of international events.<\/p>\n

In 1991, Romexpo became a joint-stock company, with the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as its majority shareholder, and has made steady progress in diversifying its activities, including through international partnerships.<\/p>\n

As Romania has integrated into international structures, such as UFI and CENTREX, ROMEXPO has strengthened its relations with large organizations and has become a reference platform for the exhibition industry.<\/p>\n

Since the 2000s, Romexpo has expanded its facilities, building a modern complex that includes state-of-the-art pavilions and a dedicated business center. Its events, from international travel fairs to technology equipment shows, have grown in importance and number.<\/p>\n

In 2016, ROMEXPO began an ambitious process of development and modernization, and in 2017, new exhibition spaces were opened, transforming the center into an emblematic place for urban relaxation and the start of new international collaborations. Today, ROMEXPO continues to be the place where innovation, professionalism and passion meet to create memorable events.<\/p>\n

The process of modernization of the Exhibition Centre is constantly evolving: the parking areas have recently been redeveloped and visitor access is now digitized through an innovative system. A modern app has also been launched to facilitate the access and experience for participants. New development projects are underway, with the aim of making ROMEXPO an even more efficient and accessible Exhibition Center.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
