The exhibition doubles its exhibition space and consolidates itself as a strategic platform for the development of a regional hub for production, design, and technology. The 2026 edition brings an expanded format, a clear vision, and a space where companies can collectively build the next step for the industry. This year's edition seems to be the most important. We can demonstrate that united and in solidarity, we are the force that changes direction.
The future of industry doesn't wait! It's built!
This was the message conveyed at the launch of the new organization and promotion strategy for BIFE-SIM 2026.

BIFE-SIM 2026: Two pavilions. One industry. A common direction.
• Hall B2 – furniture, design, decorations, accessories, and wood products
• Pavilion B1 – Technology, Machinery, and Innovations for Wood Processing
"Bucharest must become the Capital of Furniture. BIFE-SIM is a representative exhibition in the area because Romania has a strategic position. I ask APMR members to register for the event with confidence.”, he/she/it stated Dumitru Blaga, President of APMR, upon the release of the 2026 edition. „BIFE-SIM is the only trade fair in Europe that is growing. We are committed to maintaining this trend. Romanian furniture is proving its competitiveness in the world's most selective markets.”, he/she/it completed Viorel Crețu, Vice President of APMR.

BIFE-SIM not only doubles its exhibition space but also its investment in marketing and event promotion.
"We will conduct an external promotion campaign to attract exhibitors in the UK, France, Germany, and Bulgaria, and a campaign to attract buyers in France, Germany, the UK, Spain, and Italy.”, he/she/it explained Oana Netbai, Sales Director Romexpo. „Last year, we decided together that this year we will allocate the 2 pavilions to BIFE-SIM, and we also decided together that we will focus even more on sectorization and try to attract other complementary sectors to the event.”," he said Mihai Costriș, General Manager Romexpo.

The Romanian Association for Design and Innovation – ARDI is a BIFE-SIM partner, extending its contribution to the event by organizing 2 days of conferences and workshops.
"What we at ARDI want is to increase knowledge between architects and interior designers and manufacturers, and to strengthen that connection. We found this phrase that we really like: Manufactured. Designed. Produced in Romania. And it's a goal we set for ourselves together and that we want to popularize. I hope we'll put it on screen at BIFE-SIM 2026”, he/she/it stated Sebastian Mîndroiu, President of ARDI.

The new direction of BIFE-SIM comes with a modern graphic concept, a completely reimagined digital presence, and a platform that better connects the industry.
"BIFE-SIM is continuously reinventing itself. A new logo. A new visual concept. An identity that reflects the industry's evolution and future ambitions. It's more than a rebranding – it's a new vision for the industry, a strategic step forward.”, he/she/it stated Nadina Nedelea Rus, CEO of the Romanian Furniture Manufacturers Association – APMR.

📊 BIFE-SIM is already growing rapidly:
+48% exhibiting companies (2024 vs 2023)
+10% exhibition space & +30% visitors (2025 vs 2024)
BIFE-SIM is not just an exhibition. It's the event that brings together the Furniture, Architecture, and Design Industry Community, in September, in Bucharest. The 2026 edition, organized by the Romanian Furniture Manufacturers Association – APMR and Romexpo, and supported by the Romanian Design and Innovation Association – ARDI, marks a decisive step in the international repositioning of the event and comes with major investments in organization, promotion, and attracting exhibitors and buyers from key European markets.
