Four days of exclusive offers, professional dialog and immersive experiences for the public and industry.
ROMEXPO closed the fall edition of Romania's Tourism Fair (November 20-23), confirming the event's role as a national hub for travel inspiration, direct sales and B2B networking. Pavilion B2 gathered a large audience, attracted by promotional packages for winter, city breaks, exotic destinations and early booking for 2026, as well as a consistent program of conferences and demonstrations.
Results and highlights of the edition
- 12.000 visitors - with a mixed audience of active travelers, families and city break enthusiasts, together with travel professionals
- 103 exhibiting companies and a degree of internationalization of 41%, with participation from agencies, tour operators, hotels, airlines and tech platforms.
- Offers available exclusively at the fair, with dedicated discounts and face-to-face advice for on-the-spot package customization.
- Curatorial program on stage: launches, panels and applied workshops for travel professionals and travel enthusiasts.
„We would like to thank the companies who have been with us and who have promoted, with passion and professionalism, the most beautiful tourist areas in Romania and other corners of the world, bringing attractive offers and memorable experiences to the public. The Romanian Tourism Fair remains the place where participants make informed travel decisions through direct dialog and access to authentic offers. We thank the exhibitors and partners for their trust and for the valuable content offered at this edition”, said Oana Netbai, Commercial Director ROMEXPO.
Experiences for the public: „Herculane Stories” and products for all types of travelers
A highlight of the edition was „Herculane Stories”, the first virtual museum in Romania dedicated to a tourist resort - a pioneering approach that combined spa heritage with immersive technologies (archive, interviews, 3D reconstructions), proposing a new way of discovering and promoting destinations. In the exhibition area, visitors compared cold season packages, European city breaks, themed tours and exotic holidays on the spot, benefiting from direct advice and customized budget scenarios.
On the domestic tourism component, the edition featured Romania's most beautiful areas - some of them being: Prahova, Alba, and Bucovina - through dedicated presentations, themed packages and on-stage activations. Visitors were able to discover cultural and gastronomic trails, outdoor, spa & spa experiences, as well as city break and family stay proposals, in a curatorial format that connected Local offer with the real needs of the public and industry professionals.
Networking Scene: ideas, case studies and partnerships
Over the four days, the Networking Stage hosted:
- Launch of the documentary series „Discovering Authentic Romania” (DoctorTravel - CNIT partner);
- CNIT LIVE: „Education that inspires” and „SMOs - driving tourism communities”;
- RoBoost Talks - Open dialog between entrepreneurs, HoReCa and destination promoters;
- Presentations dedicated to emerging markets and objective editorial content (Where We Go®), the role of the specialized press (Travel Pro Association), the museum experience between digitalization and authenticity (CNIT & ESCU Association), as well as the thematic sessions on the transformation of the tourism product (MWR Life / Travel Advantage).
- Golden Daisy Gala„ (Country Holidays & ANTREC), which celebrated excellence in rural tourism.
We thank exhibitors, partners and visitors for their participation and involvement. This edition reconfirmed the Romanian Tourism Fair as the place where relevant offers, professional dialog and technology meet for quick decisions and sustainable partnerships.
