Therefore, it is important for us to provide you in an integrated manner with the information related to the processing of your personal data in these Terms and Conditions. ROMEXPO SA is a Romanian legal entity whose main object of activity is the organization of exhibitions, fairs and congresses. ROMEXPO SA has its registered office in Bucharest, Bd. ROMEXPO SA respects the privacy of all our customers and the confidentiality of all visitors to our websites and will treat or process personal data with great care, under technical and organizational conditions of adequate security.
ROMEXPO SA processes personal data received directly from you, as data subjects, or indirectly during the course of commercial or contractual relations and or participation in fairs or events organized within the Romexpo Exhibition Center. Personal data is collected either only with your consent or acceptance, if it is provided knowingly, voluntarily, on your own initiative, or at the request of ROMEXPO SA. for example through one of the online forms used, namely the online contact form, online service order form, etc., by subscribing to newsletters (of course, only after you have opted to receive these newsletters), by participating in sweepstakes and contests, by filling in the data in the registration form on a ROMEXPO SA website, etc. Your use of this website and other ROMPEXPO SA websites is subject to the present provisions and to the General, Technical and Participation Conditions of ROMEXPO SA. If you do not agree with any of the terms of these terms and conditions do not use any of our websites or provide us with your personal data.

Who are the data subjects? The persons (data subjects) whose data may be processed by Romexpo S.A. exclusively for the purposes mentioned below are:
- Individual clients of ROMEXPO SA (current, former or potential), visitors, general public, their representatives or their legal or conventional proxies;
- Representatives or business contact persons (business or contractual partners, exhibitors, co-exhibitors, organizers, co-organizers, suppliers, service providers, tenants, etc.- current, former or potential) and of public institutions or authorities. When you purchase a service provided by Romexpo SA, as well as when you participate in trade fairs or events or exhibitions organized by Romexpo, we will collect personal data in connection with the provision of those services.
Also, as a visitor of the Romexpo Exhibition Center, we will collect personal data (image, data processed by video surveillance systems, etc.) in order to fulfill legal obligations and carry out our current activity (legitimate interest). By reading the present provisions, by providing personal data in order to access ROMEXPO SA services or to purchase tickets for events organized within the ROMEXPO SA Exhibition Center, you are informed of and or expressly consent (give your consent) to the processing of personal data in accordance with the legal provisions on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (domestic legislation and EU-community law).
If data processing is no longer necessary for the provision of a service, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, nor is it justified by a legitimate interest of ROMEXPO SA, you may refuse such processing or you may withdraw your consent given previously, the refusal will take effect for the future.
For example, Data Subjects may withdraw their consent to data processing for direct marketing purposes, personalized offers, at any time and without having to indicate a reason. Following the resolution of the request for withdrawal of consent, the data subject will no longer receive commercial information on events or fairs or services offered by Romexpo S.A.
What are the purposes of collecting personal data? We use your personal data only for the following purposes: - The organization of fairs, exhibitions, trade fairs and other specialized events or manifestations;
- Running the commercial or contractual activity of ROMEXPO SA; - Invoicing and collecting the value of ROMEXPO SA services;
- Marketing, promotion, advertising, publicity, contests, sweepstakes, lotteries, loyalty programs, including the transmission of general or personalized commercial offers; development and improvement of services
- Customer relationship management; commercial communication with customers by any means of communication; - Fulfillment of legal obligations; - Communication with public or public interest bodies or authorities or institutions;
- Audit and control or supervisory activities;
- Archiving, statistical purposes;
- Debt collection or Overdue debt recovery;
- Settlement of disputes and litigation, enforcement of judgments, arbitral awards, court orders, etc. Romexpo SA will consider all information collected from you as confidential and will not share it with third parties (except for organizers or co-organizers of events organized by or within the Romexpo Exhibition Centre, and or business partners, as this situation is described below) without your express prior consent. Who are the recipients of your personal data? The recipients of the data may be the persons (data subjects) who have provided the personal data, as follows:
- Individual customers of ROMEXPO SA (current, former or potential), visitors, general public, their representatives or their legal or conventional representatives (for the purpose of commercial or contractual relations);
- Exhibitors, co-exhibitors, organizers, co-organizers, tenants, suppliers, service providers and other legal entities-business or contractual partners of ROMEXPO SA, public authorities or institutions; Recipients (other than data subjects) of the data may be:
- central and local public authorities, judicial authorities, police, prosecutor's office (within the limits of the legal provisions and or following specific requests), banking companies, bailiffs, insurance and reinsurance companies, market research organizations (for statistical purposes) etc. The confidentiality of personal data will be ensured by ROMEXPO SA and will not be provided to third parties other than those mentioned in this document. Processing of personal data for promotional purposes (marketing) The personal data provided by you (such as: name and surname, e-mail address, fax number, mobile or fixed telephone number, etc.) may be processed by ROMEXPO SA in compliance with your rights, in particular the right of information and opposition, for the following purposes: marketing (including direct marketing), contests, sweepstakes, advertising, making commercial communications for ROMEXPO SA services, including those developed together with a ROMEXPO SA partner, by any means of communication, including electronic communications services.

In your relationship with Romexpo SA, you benefit, according to the applicable legal provisions, from the following rights: the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and the automated individual process. Duration of the processing of personal data In order to achieve the aforementioned purpose, ROMEXPO SA will process your personal data for the entire duration of ROMEXPO's activities, until the moment when you, or your legal or conventional representative, exercise your right to object or delete (except in the situation in which ROMEXPO SA processes the data on the basis of a legal obligation or justifies a legitimate interest).
Subsequent to the completion of the personal data processing operations for the purpose for which they have been collected, if you or your legal or conventional representative do not exercise your right to object or delete, according to the law, these data will be archived by ROMEXPO SA for the period of time provided for in ROMEXPO SA internal procedures and or or will be destroyed. What security measures are used to protect your data? In order to avoid the unauthorized use of personal data, as well as possible misuse, we use security methods and technologies, together with appropriate policies and work procedures, to protect the personal data collected. The complete security of data transmitted over the Internet can never be guaranteed.
While ROMEXPO SA makes every effort to protect your personal data, we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of data transmitted to ROMEXPO SA websites. Any data transmission is at your own risk. Once we receive information about you, we will use strict procedures and security measures against unauthorized use, unauthorized, unlawful, destruction, accidental loss or disclosure of personal data. Also, when the processing is carried out on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time in writing, addressed to ROMEXPO SA., under the conditions of the applicable legislation, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal. Also, you have the right to object at any time, free of charge and without any justification, to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, using, if applicable, the unsubscribe function included in the marketing materials.
For the other purposes, you have the right to object, at any time, free of charge, that the personal data you provide to ROMEXPO SA be processed, mentioning the data and the purpose envisaged, only for legitimate and legitimate reasons related to your particular situation, except in cases where ROMEXPO SA demonstrates that it has compelling legitimate grounds justifying the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or that the purpose is the establishment, exercise or defense of a right in court. Also, if the data subjects, directly or through a representative, exercise their right of objection in a manifestly unfounded, unjustified or excessive manner, in particular due to their repetitive nature, ROMEXPO SA is entitled to consider the Contract concluded with the Client ROMEXPO SA as terminated by right, without any further formality or intervention of the courts, except for a prior notice. You are also recognized the right to lodge a complaint before a supervisory authority and to file a judicial appeal.
