The countdown has begun: on Friday, October 16, 2026, ROMEXPO opens its doors for the largest platform dedicated to health, dentistry, optics and medical technology this autumn.
For 3 days, in Pavilion B2, ROMEXPO brings together under the same platform DENTA, ROMMEDICA and National Optics and Optometry Salon. The event is complemented by Congress of the Romanian Medical Association (AMR), This year, it has two components: a scientific section, held online, and the AMR Forum, dedicated to dentistry, organized in a physical format at the fair.
This year's edition brings consistent scientific and professional content, designed primarily for doctors, dentists, dental technicians, opticians and optometrists, managers of clinics and hospitals, distributors and suppliers.
During the three days, specialist visitors will be able to see and test state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, compare solutions for clinics, laboratories and medical units, and have direct discussions with the manufacturers and representatives of the companies present.
The novelties of the medical concept
- The Congress of the Romanian Medical Association, structured into two components: the scientific section, conducted online and accredited with 18 EMC points, and the AMR Forum, dedicated to dentistry and general medicine, organized in a physical format at ROMEXPO, on October 16-17, in the Hygea Hall of Pavilion B2;
- The new sector dedicated to optics – SNOO, With a program of presentations and practical workshops focused on myopia management and the new generations of lenses;
- an integrated exhibition – dentistry, general medicine, optometry and ophthalmology – that allows professionals to cover the entire spectrum of solutions relevant to their practice in a single visit.
The AMR Forum 2026 brings dental medicine to the forefront
The Forum of the Romanian Medical Association is dedicated to dentistry and general medicine, organized in a physical format at ROMEXPO on October 16-17, in the Hygea Hall of Pavilion B2. Participants will benefit from a free subscription to the Romanian Journal of Stomatology, a publication accredited with 10 EMC credits.
Access to the Hygea Hall is through the DENTA & ROMMEDICA exhibition area. Specialists can thus visit the exhibitors' stands both before the Forum begins and after it ends.
The program brings together specialists in dental medicine and management of dental practices, with presentations dedicated to the following topics:
- the relationship between oral health and systemic health – the implications of oral pathology on the overall condition of the patient;
- Digital guided implantology – virtual planning, clinical predictability, and the role of surgical guides in increasing the precision and safety of implant treatment;
- orthodontics at different ages – criteria for determining the optimal time for intervention, from temporary dentition in the adult patient;
- dental veneers – the balance between aesthetics, functionality and dental health;
- Artificial intelligence in the management of the dental office – increasing efficiency and reducing the time spent on administrative processes;
- the development of dental clinics – work systems for a predictable flow of accepted complex cases.
The works also include a segment of practical demonstrations, with the projection of a documentary film, and conclude with a discussion session.
SNOO brings solutions for better vision
The National Salon of Optometry and Optometry offers a program of 12 sessions: 10 presentations supported by 8 leading companies in the industry and 2 practical workshops addressed to optometrists, opticians and ophthalmologists.
Among the topics addressed are:
- Management of myopia – prevention, monitoring and control, as an integrated service of the optician’s office, including the education of young patients;
- adapting contact lenses – practical cases and solutions applicable directly in the clinic;
- New generations of ophthalmic lenses – technological innovations in design, customization and visual comfort;
- ocular surface and keratoconus – from refractive refraction to corneal evaluation, in a practical workshop format.
DENTA, the dental sector and new technologies
The sector DENTA, organized in Pavilion B2, It brings to the forefront the solutions that shape modern dentistry: equipment for the dental office and laboratory, digital workflows, imaging, implantology, and cutting-edge materials.
